Dr. Clouatre’s primary research interests are the components of the metabolic syndrome / Syndrome X. Dr. Clouatre earned his A.B. from Stanford and his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. |

Daniel Clouatre, JD, S.B. Mr. Clouatre has spent over 30 years living and working in Asia where he steeped himself in traditional Chinese, Indian and Indonesian herbal medical systems. While in Asia he spent a significant amount of time in the field and production facilities determining what it takes to find and produce efficacious botanical ingredients and sustainable supply chains. His near native command of Mandarin Chinese, the lingua franca of East Asia, remains an invaluable asset. Mr. Clouatre earned his B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and J.D. from the University of Chicago. |

Brad Douglass, PhD Dr. Douglass is currently an active speaker and opinion leader in the area of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals and preventive medicine. He is particularly interested in how our health and consciousness affect what we introduce into our bodies and vice versa. Dr. Douglass has engaged in research focused on the discovery of drugs, the delivery of therapeutics to the brain, and the production of pharmaceuticals. Dr. Douglass holds bachelor degrees in Neuroscience and Computer Science, an M.S. in Regulatory Science and a Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry, all from the University of Southern California. |
Kevin Connolly, PhD Dr. Connolly formerly served as the Director of Scientific Affairs at Jarrow Formulas, Inc. His research experience includes areas such as bacterial antibiotic resistance and collagen synthesis. He is an inventor whose name appears on several medical device patents and is a frequent guest on radio health programs throughout the country. Dr. Connolly received his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of California Los Angeles. |

James Dunn, MD (deceased) Dr. Dunn was the holder of more than one dozen U.S., Canadian, European and South African patents. The major portion of his patent work covers pharmaceutical delivery technologies. He is the author and/or co-author of 44 published scientific papers. For several years, Dr. Dunn was Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and of Medicine at the Lousiana State University School of Medicine. He founded VEREX Laboratories in 1981. Dr. Dunn played a seminal role in many of the inventions that underpin Glykon’s (-)-hydroxycitric acid offerings. |
